Delhi air pollution :
In 7th November 2017 Great smoke covered Delhi environment. Low visibility has resulted in accidents across the city. The temperature in New Delhi during this period was from 19 to 21 degrees Celcious.For this reason city chiefs closed all public and private schools.

As per a WHO survey of 1600 world cities, Indian Capital Delhi air quality one of the wrost in the world. Others two cities in India Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, and Raipur in Chhattisgarh have same condition. As per survey breathing in Delhi air equivalent to smoking 44 cigarettes a day. Poor quality air damages irreversibly the lungs. Air pollution India is estimated to kill 1.5 million people every year. it is the fifth largest killer in India. Poor air quality is a cause of reduced lung capacity, headaches, sore throats, coughs, fatigue, and early death. Across the capital, doctors reported a surge in patients complaining of chest pain, breathlessness and burning eyes. 


More than 32 lakh people travel by bikes every day in Delhi, more than 32 lakhs people commute by buses every day, over 26 lakh commuters use the metro rail. The primary sources of smoke are stubble burning, lit garbage, road dust, power plants, factories, and vehicles.
